Due to the sheer quantity of attempted rogue registrations by spammers, pornographers and other n'er-do-wells, we have closed the online registration facility. If you are a genuine naturist interested in Vera Playa and wish to become a member of this Vera Playa Forum please send us an email giving the following information:

Your name (first name and surname/family name), postal address (or at the minumum: town/city & country of residence), telephone number and email address. Please state whether you are a member of the INF and/or a naturist club or sun club. Please also state the username you would like to use if you are admitted to membership. We may have a dialogue with you by email, telephone or postal mail before making a decision about your application and this will obviously take some time.

We apologise for this but with rogue applications  outnumbering genuine ones in recent months, there is no alternative other than to close new member registration altogether.

Please send your application for membership to forummembership@veraplaya.info

We will not publish your email address or any of your personal information on the forum - if you are approved as a member the username you have chosen will be shown whenever you make a posting. We will allocate you a password on registration - it is important that you do not divulge the password to anyone else - it is unique to you and only for your use.

Hi Stephen. The last bookings with Peng Travel end the first weekend in October, or possibly Wednesday the 6th.

You can phone the hotel direct on 950 46 74 75 (I think +34 is the country code)

Hi dicskywalker,
No problem. This happens pretty regularly. Try the Cyber Cafe above Consum. If you have wheels pop along to Mojacar or Turre. There are a number of places.
You'll get home.

Ryanair always provoke  debate, don't they. Thanks for the input everyone.
Personally, I don't have an issue with them. I play by their rules and normally save £'s.
However, with a Midlands flight being our first choice. I have booked a Birmingham flight to Alicante in January. On this occasion bmibaby actually came in cheaper than Ryanair for the same departure. For me, it really is down to the cheapest seats when I book.
It was interesting to note that both bmibaby and Ryanair have started to post warnings about limited availability.
I guess its to be expected as the Midlands have lost Almeria and Murcia for winter flights.
Dont leave it too long if you plan topping up the tan and you wish to take a Midlands flight.

I think this may have been mentioned before but I can't find the posting. As you are aware Ryanair operates the above which is fine for a two week stay. There limit of 15 days means you can't get your return boarding pass before you travel if your stay exceeds this. Can any one tell me were the nearest cyber cafe with a printer can be located. We shall be at BDV for the first two weeks in September. Any suggestions or info.

No mention by James I of Monarch or ThomsonFly? -

Thanks for that info, Bob. I wasn't aware Monarch or Thomson were doing winter flights. I must investigate that option, too.

No mention by James I of Monarch or ThomsonFly? - both of which are budget airlines which allocate designated seats at check-in in the airport like traditional airlines - both fly from Birmingham to Alicante (and Monarch flies from Easter until end of October to Almeria as well, but only once a week these days).

Although Alicante airport is more than twice as far from Vera Playa as Almeria airport (215 kms compared with 85 kms) the fares are sometimes a fraction of what they are to Almeria - on some dates in September 2010 you'll have enough money left over to hire a car for a week!

And good news on the car hire front - late August and September prices are right down compared with last year - around £100 per week
